Land of the Purple Moon
Here I am in the Land of the Purple Moon!
|Hey, fellow travellers! I'm Laguna Loire,
and I'm really happy to welcome you back
to The Travelling Companion. Since my last
column, I've travelled to the Land of the
I had a heck of a time getting here. Even though it wasn't to hard to get to the world of Arcadia and rent a ship, I had to go right through this huge sky rift - yikes! Fortunately, when I woke up after the crash, I was right where I wanted to go.
There was supposed to be some kinda lost city or something in the area, so I decided to go looking for that while I waited for another ship to come along and rescue me. I don't know what everybody was talking about, though - I didn't see any cities the whole time. And how would a city get lost, anyway? It's not like it could wander off, right?
There were these really cute little penguin things running around, but take it from a pro monster hunter - don't try to feed them. My Pokedex told me that they were called Killites, and I can see why. They taste pretty good fried up with ranch dressing, though, so no complaints there.
There weren't many people around in the Land of the Purple Moon. There weren't any, in fact. But if there had been, I'll bet they would have been really nice - cold hands, warm heart, I always say.
The views in the Land of the Purple Moon are great! As you can see in the picture above, there's lots of snow and ice, and even though you can't see them, there's mountains, too. There's all sorts of tourist attractions, called Discoveries. It was really cool.
Lodging is easy - all I had to do was build an igloo! Of course, I wasn't really sure how to do that, so mine kept falling in on me while I was asleep. It think maybe I shouldn't have tried to do my igloos in Gothic style - the flying buttresses just didn't seem to work out.
All in all, I give this place a 10!
